Our goal is to educate and inspire fashion industry & consumers to make informed, ethical decisions, ultimately driving a positive impact on the environment and society as a whole.

Sustainably en vogue initiative began as a shared vision between two friends who believe that fashion can and should be both stylish and sustainable. Sumedha, with her background in sustainability and product management, saw the potential for innovation in the fashion industry. Katja, a lawyer specialised in compliance, with a passion for ethical business practices and enthusiasm for fashion, recognized the need for the fashion industry to lead by example in sustainability and drive the change. Together, we started with Sustainably en vogue to create a platform that merges our passion for fashion with our commitment to sustainable lifestyle.

As a Product Manager with a deep passion for sustainability and fashion, I’ve always believed that style and environmental responsibility should go hand in hand. My career in sustainability has shown me the power of innovation in driving positive change, and I’ve wanted to apply this to the fashion industry, which is both vibrant and impactful.

As an experienced Inhouse Legal Counsel, I firmly believe that a commitment to sustainable business practices is an imperative for any business that wants to be successful and relevant. And because fashion is one of the most infulential sectors in the world, its impact on the world only highlights the importance of a commitment to sustainable practices. This is what motivates me to support the process of the industry evolving into a model of responsibility and innovation.
